A Delta Airlines Boeing 757-200, registration N722TW performing flight DL-118 (dep Nov 19th) from New York JFK,NY (USA) to Copenhagen (Denmark),

was on approach to Copenhagen descending through 11000 feet overhead Sjaelland at 08:20L (07:20Z),
when the airplane suffered the failure of a hydraulic system. The crew continued for a safe landing in Copenhagen.

The Danish Havarikommission reported, that a hydraulic access door,
size 120 by 80 cm (47x31 inches), weight about 20kg (44lbs) and located on the fuselage aft of the left hand wing,

was found missing, two hinges were found torn off and cables damaged leading to the failure of the hydraulic system.

The incident airplane was ferried back to New York's JFK Airport departing Copenhagen as flight DL-9934 on Nov 22nd.
