This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Nice collection of photos! Great to see some pics of Israeli F-16B's for a change, rather than the usual D's or I's!!!!
A lot of the chosen angles are so alike that you have to look at very small details to see that they're not photoshopped copies, haha So, as a collection your photos are somewhat repetative, but individually they're all quality pics, very nice!!
Regards,
Stephan

Nice set!
What is the lump behind the cockpits of several F-15B's like 733?
Hans.

Wow, nice shots!
Are those kill marks on the nose of 979?
Best regards,
Bas van Oorschot
I wondered the same; the ones with the hump have a darker coloured nose cone by the way. Some kind of upgrade maybe? What is the lump behind the cockpits of several F-15B's like 733?

Hi Bas,
Yes, F-15D 979 has three kills on its nose.
It's first kill was a MiG-21 on 10-6-1982 by Major Yoram Peled & Major Zvi Liphshitz.
Second and third kills were two MiG-23's on 24-6-1982 by Lt. Colonel Joel Feldschuh & Major Zvi LiphshitIn all three kills a Python 3 missile was used.
Regards, Per

The looks of this Gulfstream certainly did not improve much after being modified...in this exercises was present also this G550
Was this the first overseas "operational" deployment of the Eitam AEW

I see what you mean, but it is not ZeroOtto's obligation to warn the rest of the world until everybody realizes what is going on. Several of my friends here in Holland were aware of this exercise, not knowing from eachother. So apparently it was made public but not many people paid attention.efa78 wrote:solita testa spotter italiani, avvisare frà amici spotter sarebbe cortesia, che teste di c... solite persone
Sorry,
