Webshop payment system > your opinion!

As one knows we are currently working on a new website. One of the elements of the website is the webshop. With the new website and so webshop we also want to introduce a new payment system. At the moment we are in the final stage of selecting a payment system. To make the final decision we need YOU!!!

One of the criteria of the new payment system should be that it serves as much as possible customers. In other words the most used way of payments by you will be within the new system.

At the moment we have the following ways of payment:

- PayPal
- Bank transfer (to UK, BE, GER, NL bank account)
- UK Bank cheque
- Sending your credit card details.

Within the new system we can chose the following ways of on-line payment:

GiroPay - German on-line banking system http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giropay

We will choose the system which will be in line with the outcome of this survey.

Ik zou zeggen Ideal en Paypal. Ideal is handig, maar alleen voor NL, paypal heeft meer mogelijkheden voor buitenlandse klanten, namelijk betalen via eigen bankrekening of creditcard.

Het uiteindelijke doel is om zoveel mogelijk gebruikers van dienst te zijn. We hebben de keuze uit twee pakketten die op hoofdlijnen hetzelfde zijn maar de een heeft net 2 andere systemen dan de ander. 1 van die systemen is fasterpay. Als nederlander zou ik niet weten hoe populair dat is in engeland. Vandaar onder andere deze enquête.

je kunt paypal combineren met credit card, ben je de apparte kosten voor credit card betalingen kwijt. Iedereen kan via paypal met een credit card betalen, ook zonder daar een rekening te hebben.

Klopt, maar nog steeds doen mensen een losse credit card betaling. Helaas is de realiteit anders.

It´s funny that all people thinks, that paypal is safe

Look at the scandal 2 years ago in Germany, where a East-European band, hacked into the paypal accounts of German clients. The total loss was over 1 milion €.

About credit cards, take a look recently what happened with the model-shops in England and Japan ...

Bank transfer is the safiest for anyone. And, at least for people in Europe, it´s very easy going.
