And another order for Sukhoi! They are doing well, very good!
This time 30 SuperJet 100s are ordered by Pearl, an aircraft leasing firm (from Bermuda according the article). They also have options for 15 more. Article here.

And some more A330 again. Thai Airways has signed an MOU for 7 A330-300s. More info on the Airbus site.

And Boeing have announced that Qatar Airways (QR/QTR), have converted options on 2 B777-200LRs into a firm order.
This order was also on Boeing's books already as for an unidentified customer.

Another couple of late afternoon deals:

American Airlines (AA/AAL) has converted options on 35 B737-800s into firm orders. These are intended as part of the replacement programme for their MD-80 fleet.

Another US carrier, Republic Airlines (YX/RPA), has signed a letter of intent with Embraer for an additional 24 E190s. As This is a LoI, the airline has the option to convert these models to the E195.

A ´non-binding Memorandum of Understanding´, I am not sure what the real value of it is, but that is what Airbus and Virgin America signed for 40 more A320s. More info on Airbus site.

Seattle-based Alaska Airlines (AS/ASA), has exercised options on 2 B737-800s from Boeing. The deal was already listed on Boeing's website in June as being for an unidentified customer.

Also announced at Farnborough:

Azerbaijan Airlines (J2/AHY), has substituted an existing order for two B737s with Boeing for 1 B767-300ER and 2 B767-300ERFs.

Shenzhen Airlines is purchasing 10 Airbus A320. Deliveries will start in two years.

Cathay Pacific Airways has signed a LoI for 30 A350-900 and plans to order 6 more B777-300ER.

Canadian carrier Porter Airlines (PD/POE), has ordered an additional 4 Q400NGs from Bombarider, along with options on another 6 of the type.
This will bring the airline's fleet up to 24 aircraft.

First order for the Sukhoi SuperJet from North America! Willis Lease Finance Corporation ordered 6 SuperJets plus 4 options. It is a lease corporation, so it remains to be seen where they will be flying in the end.

Aeroflot are reported to have ordered 30 B737(variant not known) during the last week.

Trinadad & Tobago national carrier Carribean Airlines (BW/BWA), has signed a deal with ATR for 9 ATR72-600s.
The aircraft will replace the Dash 8s currently operated by the airline, which makes it an important win for the manufacturer.

A couple of end-of-the-week orders for Boeing:

Cargo carrier FedEx Express (FX/FDX) has placed an order for an additional 2 B777Fs. This brings their total of the type on order from Boeing to 36, plus two via Air France.

The parent company of Libyan Airlines (LN/LAA), has signed a deal with Bombardier for 3 CRJ900NGs plus 3 options on the same type.
Once the aircraft on firm order have been delivered, it will bring Libyan's fleet of CRJ900 and CRJ900NGs to 8.
