What's the tower frequency and is it allowed to use radio scanners in Czechia?
And some other questions:
The perpenddicular display line means that it stretches outside of the airport, over the neighbouring farmlands. Is it allowed to go there (under the display)? Is the fence high?
I plan to shoot from the "21" location on this map, but I'm new to Ostrava and don't know if its a good place.

Fance is about 3m high with barbed wire.
I was today and last year between spotting locations 20 and 21.

What does Expert Day mean? Routes opened for cars on Friday or also already closed?

I am curious about this airshow, since I haven't attended a show where the display is perpendicular to the runway.
Is it possible to stand under directly the display line? (Seemingly it crosses roads further in the western side). I think the fence will not disturb too much, since it won't be between us and the aircraft. Interesting, and I haven't seen too much pics of the airshow.

Last year it was. It is even better than Piestany - no railway here:)KGyST wrote:

Unfortunately, at Piestany I was in the crowd and knew that the good place is the opposite. Needless to say, I was there on Sunday

Do you know when does the police close the road between "Nová Horka" and "Albrechtičky"? I want to get there by car, but on the official map it is marked as a route for VIP/Organisers.
Re: Ostrava Nato Days 18-19 September 2010
Last year it was closed very early in the morning.

What time does the "very early" mean?
