Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
If I read that list correctly it only shows the orders placed in 2010, these KLM aircraft were ordered a few years ago.
//Edit:
I would be a bit strange aswell, a 737 backlog of only 233 aircraft, at the current production rate they would all be delivered in 7 months.
http://active.boeing.com/commercial/ord ... eout=20000" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
On this page you can find the unfilled orders of all airlines, KLM has 2 777-300 and 6 737-700 orders left according to this page.
/edit2:
Hmm link isn't working correctly, if you go to the orders and deliveries page, click on the left side on "unfilled orders" then select "unfilled orders by customer" click "view report" and scroll down until you are at KLM

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
I didn't write correctly what I meant. I meant that the new orders, 2 x 737-800 and 5 additional 737-700's (all aircraft with registration CIT...-tbd) are not in the Boeing orderbook 2010. I know that all other aircraft (all aircraft with a registration PH-... except PH-BGM) had been ordered already a few years ago.

CIT stands for the leasing company.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
And the leasecompany is the one that orders the aircraft, so it is not strange that KLM's arenot in the books of boeing?

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
CIT ordered 5 -800s on 8-Dec-06, and 2 more on 20-Nov-07, plus 5 -700s on 12-Apr-07 and 3 on 20-Nov-07. These aircraft will probably be part of those orders.nemaco wrote:Ok but have you read anything about this order before?
The lease agreement with KLM was signed in May (Link).

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Has been ordered a while ago. But it probably will be PH-BVI instead of G.
look through the pages of this thread. 773 number 7 is already mentioned in 2009.Boeing 777-300ER:
PH-BVA - (35671) active
PH-BVB - (36145) active
PH-BVC - oo May 2009 (37582/787)
PH-BVD - oo Aug 2009 (35979/807) {Skyteam colours}
PH-BVF - oo Mar 2011 (35947)
PH-BVG - oo Mar 2011 (39972)
PH-BVH - oo Nov 2011 (38867)

De reservering van PH-BVH lijkt me zeer onwaarschijnlijk!RCV wrote:Can someone confirm that KLM has ordered an additional B777-306ER?

Herman Dekker.

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Translation of the post above, made in Dutch by Herman Dekker, who is very knowledgeable on the subject of dutch registrations and who has access to the official files of the Dutch Government's Aviation Authority: it is highly unlikely that the registration (PH-BVH) is or will be reserved for KLM at present. The registration was used by a balloon up to September 30, 1994 and Dutch law prohibits the re-use of a previously allocated registration for a period of 30 years. This would mean that (PH-BVH) will be available again no sooner than the year 2024! Dutch officials stated that no exceptions are made, not even for KLM (see the "missing" registration in the former series of KLM-B737-registrations). According to Dutch Aviation Authority, no KLM-reservation for (PH-BVH) exists; this reservation is not even possibel! (which makes perfect sense given the rules stated above)
Herman goes on to say that the information concerning C/n's and registrations in the posts above does not tally with the information provided to Dutch authorities by KLM (and known to Herman).
In which case, I would like to know what the correct information is that KLM has supplied to Dutch authorities! Please, Herman, enlighten us!

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Just found this post on pprune:
So that'll mean that there are 4 old Aer Lingus A320's are going to AAN. Does anyone have more information?Apparently Skyliner is reporting some significant imminent fleet activity at Aer Lingus:
- 7 Embraer 195s to be acquired.
- 4 older 320s to leave before the new A320s arrive next year; going to Amsterdam Airlines.
- 1 A330 to leave the fleet without replacement.
Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
Update on the KLM 737 phase-out in 2010:
PH-BTI will return from NWI today after maintenance. Next week painting into KQ livery in AMS.
Delivery expected before end of September as 5Y-KYN.
PH-BDZ will leave commercial service end of September. Return to lessor in Nov10.
PH-BDP is expected to leave commercial service end of October. Future unknown.
Regards,
Roel

Re: The Dutch airliner delivery thread
From a VERY reliable source, I can tell you they are only roking on 2 airbusses, not 4. Their fleet will grow to four planesboeing767 wrote:Just found this post on pprune:So that'll mean that there are 4 old Aer Lingus A320's are going to AAN.
