AWACS: Pretty busy AWACS activity right now. Frequencies heard so far:
231.6750 MHz (NATO GCI)
261.0000 MHz (Air Manager)
278.5250 MHz ?
338.0250 MHz (HQ TOD ?)
339.5500 MHz (Datacom link 11)
I had never any comms on 278.5250 MHz before. I have this frequency programmed in my scanner as EHLW 303 Sqn. "Jackpot". So this must be a new AWACS frequency, I guess?
And the last time I received anything on 338.0250 MHz was when EHSB was still active. This should be HQ TOD. There is a very loud beep on this one about every minute. I am not 100% sure if this is related to the AWACS activity I am receiving this afternoon, but the signal is very strong. So are the comms on the other frequencies, so that's why I think it has to do with the above activity.

Re: LOG 02-09-2010
Coastguard WB: Calling Netherlands Coastguard on 282.8000 MHz; giving position. Earlyer he was in comms with Coastguard Center on 162.4750 MHz. I presume there is a search and rescue going on, but mist some of the comms while I was listening to the AWACS activity.
16.30 LT: Also comms now with ATCC Dutch Mil on 124.2250 MHz (Arrival EHKD).

When they are on a SAR mission the callsign wil be changed in Rescue WB.
I think you heard some 'OPS normal' calls with position report. [At leastI did]
