RAF A330 unveiled
The first A330 for the Royal Air Force has been rolled out.

The first A330 Multi-Role Tanker Transport (MRTT) Future Strategic Tanker Aircraft (FSTA) destined for the Royal Air Force has been rolled out at Airbus Military’s facility at Getafe in Spain.

Airbus Military has completed indoor systems trials required before the first flight and will continue with the outdoor trials before being handed over to the Flight Test Team for First Flight, due in the first part of September.

The first of 14 aircraft, following the flight-test programme it will be delivered in late 2011 to the AirTanker consortium that will operate the RAF contract.
