Accident: Mauritania B737 at Conakry on Jul 28th 2010, overran runway

A Mauritania Airways Boeing 737-700, registration TS-IEA performing flight YD-620 (dep Jul 27th) from Dakar (Senegal) to Conakry (Guinea) with 91 passengers and 6 crew, overran Conakry's runway 06 (length 3300 meters/10800 feet) while landing at the airport in heavy rain and tailwind at approximately 01:30L (01:30Z).
The airplane broke through the localizer antenna and came to a stand still about 130 meters past the end of paved surface. 10 occupants received minor injuries.
The airport said, the airplane touched down at about the mid point of the runway in strong tailwind before rolling past the end of the runway. At the time of landing there was heavy rain.
Passengers reported, that the approach had been turbulent, the landing however looked normal until the airplane ran past the end of the runway.
There was
no announcement by the cockpit crew after the airplane came to a stand still,
so that cabin crew did not take any action for a considerable time until passengers started to call for action.
