is it possible that i saw the g-vroc virgin b744 flying over beverwijk heading for the uk?

Yes, G-VROC left AMS around 21.45lt.

ok thanx! it flew higher than usual, and the cz flew overhead as well, usualy he bounds towards ijselmeer, is this all to do whit the thunderclouds?

No, because that Virgin B744 was completely empty, with nearly no fuel (for the UK), it climbs like a rocket.

Yes aircraft will not penetrate the thunderclouds, so deviate from regular course and fly around the weather systems. This to avoid e.g. possible heavy turbulence, hail and lightning strikes.

Was there a Midex doing a testflight or did I see one coming in in the evening (somewhere around 2100-2130)? Or was it some other whitish B747-200 with a blue logo in the tail?
