Hi Joris,Joris Heeren wrote:Hi Stefan,
Nice catch! I saw the Truman on Friday afternoon June 11th in Marseille harbour.
Could you confirm that 305 was parked next to Hornet 204 and Prowler 501? I could only make 30. since a pole was too close to the aircraft on the ramp that shifting a few meters didn't help.
I also logged Hornet code 303 between 110 and 403 on the front deck, did you see this one? If so, could you provide a BuNo?
MTIA,
Joris
As you maybe saw I changed my log a bit. Now everything is tripple checked and correct. I checked my pictures but the 305 is between the 106 and 204. The 303 I simply forgot and I added it to my list, it´s the 165196.
Hope it helps.
Grz, Stefan

Q Wolfie: Can you please state which Hornet was below deck next to F-18 "411"?
A: VMFA-312 commander 164889/AC-200
Q Sonny: can you also state which F-18 was parked opposite (nose on to) the 411?
A: VMFA-312 commander 164889/AC-200
Dear GUINNESS_EIN2, Thanks for your quick answer, appreciated! However, one of the above answers is not correct.
Was AC-200 parked next to the 411 or parked opposite the 411?
If the answer is next, which Hornet was parked accros the 411?
Thanks for your help and time!

At that part of the ship where only two aircraft present when we where on board. The AC-411 and the AC-200. No other a/c near to those two. The AC-200 was a bit across and a bit opposite (diagonal) to the AC-411. So both answers are correct.

Re: Port Visits South France -2010
Hello,
sorry to disturb everyone after almost 2 weeks with such questions, but I hope somebody is able to help me with two queries regarding the Truman!
1. Does anyone know maybe, which SH-60F was behind the left Prowler (you could see only the cockpit from the city), on the forward part of the ship?
As I saw them from left to right (forward row, to the city), it was:
SH-60F/SH-60F (behind the left Prowler)/SH-60F/right Prowler (nose to nose with the other)/Hornet 102/HH-60H/HH-60H/HH-60H 617
2. Second question is the serial of the right above Prowler (nose to nose with the other one)
Again sorry for any incovience!
Best greetings
Marcus
