Re: Spotting at Istres & Orange
Thanks for this wonderful news guys!!!
I just had a look at Google earth, but it seems hard to find a good spot to read the serials.
I found two spots: 43 20 35N 5 20 04E and 43 21 03N 5 19 48E but I'm not sure whether this are public roads.
Anyone any better idea's??
Information would ofcourse be more than welcome.
Best regards, Rob.

The 13th the USS Truman will be in the 'Gulf of Hyeres'.
Rule #23: Never mess with a Marine's coffee if you want to live.
Re: Spotting at Istres & Orange
For a side-on view I recommend going to the upper parking level of the shopping center "Grand Littoral":
(43.36218, 5.346735)
For a bow-on view you want to go to the carpark of the "Ed" supermarket:
(43.339376, 5.35019)
From both spots you have a good overview and can read all the codes with a good spotting scope. Best time for this is between 6 and 8am when there is good light and no heat haze.
Best regards
Woelfie
