change dates in Lightroom...
oops...when importing my pics of the weekend in Lightroom I found out I've been shooting with a wrond date setting on the camera... (must have changed the year somehow) Is it possible to change this date so that the right order is restored in the Lightroom overview?

Select your photo(s) and go to Metadata -> Edit Capture Time.. There you change dates and times one by one or all at once. If you do it all at once be careful not to change the capture time of all photos (I'm not sure how it works), so test it before you apply it to hundreds of photos.

Thnx DJ...
one by one works, but how to change only the year and leave the minutes intact somehow isn't clear to me... (aah what the heck, it's only 700 pics or so....)

I don't know how to do it in lightroom, but for placing geatag information i use geosetter (http://www.geosetter.de" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) here you can also change the dates in the exif information, with a fixed time or a delta time. and you can do this for multiple images. After that you go to lightroom and select the changed images and press RMB -> metadata -> read metadata from files.
i hope this will do the trick

Re: change dates in Lightroom...
LR2.5 gives the option to shift the time zone of a large number of photos at once. It adjusts dates too when doing this, if applicable. But the shift is (not surprisingly) limited to + or - 24 hours, so if you want to shift the year it seems you need something else indeed.
