Also seen was C-17A 177701 CAF. Six more Vipers left Base this Morning heading to Duluth, MN.

In order of departure:
91-0421 bl, 91-0339 rd, 91-0391 rd, 91-0405 bl, 91-0406 rd, 91-0414 bl, 91-408 rd, 96-0082 bl.
Two of the Jets returned acting as air spares after 2.5 hours. Unfortunately, I left the area by then and was to far away to read them of while landing. Their glass paint didn't help the situation either.
Quite sad to see them go. Saw them when they where delivered 1992/93.

Now on final for runway23 in Spangdahlem is Reach893. SBS shows C-17A 99-0061 from 62AW.

Eight jets departed all together. Retro 71-76 plus Danger 1-2. Two of them came back, each had one travel pod on their left Wing.Reinold wrote:Thank you

Another C-17 is currently inbound Spangdahlem. This time it is C-17A 00-0180 from 62AW.
Callsign is Reach450 and he is inbound runway23.

Hi,
They mentioned the tales of the 6 vipers during AR with the tankers. Only 2 were readable beging 421 and 391. So these two for sure left.
Indeed 2 of the 8 (not the above) returned to Spang.
Sad day.....
