Strange, no B-52 (yet) on the lists
at
http://www.airtattoo.com/airshow/Aircra ... S_Military" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
and
http://www.airshows.org.uk/2010/airshow ... eview.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; :?:

A B-52 is expected in the static park at Farnborough the following week...

The days of jawdroppingly awesome lists of participating aircraft on (R)IAT is long gone.

Yesterday i was reading the list of the first IAT i went to in `89, such a shame the show is now barely a shadow of what it once was.

Wouldnt agree with ya spOOk. (R)IAT had a much heavier RAF and USAF presence but lacked the more exotic visitors that we get today. To be honest id be more exited to go to more recent RIAT's then 10-20 years ago.

Dirk.

sorry Dirk! cant agree on you. The exocitics where then also there: Kuwait F/A-18's, New Zealand MB339, Aussie F-111's, Jordanian F-5's, F-1's.
Besides the fact numbers went down, quality is down a lot (except for one or two nice specials) and prices are sky high..
and still with bad shooting possibilties of the static aircraft!

I rest my case...good luck for everyone who goes this year, really hope you guys are going to see something nice.

Regards
Frank

http://www.scramble.nl/forum/viewtopic. ... 38#p406438" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; mentions possible (and no more definite assurances than that :!: :idea: ) participation by the Royal Netherlands Air Force with their AH-64 Apache demo.

Time will tell whether RIAT will or will not again see a Dutch Apache flying demonstration this year... :idea:
