I am not actually at the field right now, but have been listening to the scanner for the last hour or so with Redskin 03 (with a very American sounding pilot btw) making a whole lot of take offs and landings. Just when I was about to get in my car to go have a look (the weather has changed from overcast to clear blue skies) I heard the call from the tower that ALL VFR flights have been cancelled with a few exceptions. Redskin 03 wasn't one of those exceptions and had to return to the squadron immediately as ordere by OPS So I guess no visit for me today. Then again, if I heard correctly, Bat 72 now on the radio, coming in to land so looks like the field is still operational?
Later,
Frank

Re: Operations stopped again
Is there any info about flightops for tomorrow? I've been unable to spot for ten (that's 10) weeks (!) and I've got an itchy trigger finger Probably no flying activities, I guess?

Sven
