Hi,
I was chatting with some other spotters yesterday about the possibility that MAch III was going to publish some new serial books. However, that also raised the question if a new updated version of the EMOOS will be coming out this year?
Are there any plans for this?
Many thanks in advance,
Arjan

Hi Arjan,
Not this year. At this moment spring 2011 is our target, if I remember correctly.
Regards,
Hans

Re: Is there going to be a new Emoos?
Hi Otger/Andy,
I was one of the guys.
What Arjan probably means is the USAMOOS. The latest one was from 2007.
Unfortunately the book can’t be order any more.
Perhaps, Andy, can tell us if that one is coming out this year?
(This book is from Mach III)
After that, I’m also looking forward to resave a newer version of EMOOS.
Like that book a lot.
If you don’t mind I have a few suggestions to make your book much better?
My suggestions are:
I would like it when there are more and more coordinates published in the book.
I know there is a problem when you publish Names and addresses but I hope coordinates won’t give a problem
If I look at a country like Germany it’s very hard to locate where the W&W can be find.
Is it possible to publish like the English W&W by county/province/state?
I hope you may take this advice to improve the EMOOS.
Regards
Steve

I am just finishing USAMOOS 2010, which will go to print at the end of next month.
It will contain GPS coordinates for nearly all locations.
GPS coordinates will also be in EMOOS 2011.

Re: Is there going to be a new Emoos?
Is there a way to provide buyers with a digital file of GPS coördinates? Google Earth placemarks or even an excel sheet will do.
Don't get me wrong, I love the addition of the coördinates in the book but to manually add them to a GPS will de tedious.
