In March 2010,Ibaraki Airport will open for scheduled services.This will be around the 98th Japanese airport.
At this time the only destination it will be possible to fly to will be Seoul,Incheon from here.
Military spotters may be familiar with this facility,for this will be the name for the civil terminal at JASDF Hyakuri.

This airport opened for business on Thursday 11th March.
First (and so far only) service is a daily Asiana flight to Seoul-Incheon.Skymark Airlines will add a domestic schedule from Kobe commencing 16th April.
Taiwanese carrier Trans Asia Airlines is operating a series of charter flights from here to Taipei until May 2010.
