Two Ryanair planes have collided in the siding waiting (zone prior to the runway) from Gerona airport when both moved to the head of the track to start the takeoff. The incident took place at 11:10 hours in the morning and there have been wounded.
The first aircraft has the left wing grazed the tail of another plane, which was in the siding of the head of the runway waiting for permission to access it. According to official sources of Aena, the damage to the aircraft "have been imperceptible," although security procedures have forced the return of both to the parking areas and landing of passengers. The aircraft concerned are those for flights 9727 and 9111, bound for Gran Canaria and Turin, respectively.
Subsequently the incident, the aircraft involved have moved on their own until the parking area opposite the terminal, where passengers were able to disembark normally.
