''Backlit shots''

Post by shepherd »

As we surf trough the big aviation photo database on the internet. We often see the so called perfect lit photo's. all with the sun right behind the photographer..
Amd most of the photo's with the sun in front of the Photographer are rejected because they are ''Back Lit''.
But I think that backlit photo's really can be a form of art!

So Why not just Sharing those rare art shots with beautifull silhouettes of aircraft here?

I'll do the kick off:

1. J-362. RNLAF At Leeuwarden.
Image
2. J-516. RNLAF At Leeuwarden.
Image
3. 047. Polish Air Force, Yakovlev Yak-40. At Schiphol.

Kind regards,
Jeffrey.

In my opinion, using the existing light is one of the toughest, but also most rewarding facets of photography. Backlight can be wonderful in that respect, as it can give a nice "moody" quality to your pictures.
