Re: 24th Nov 2009
According the flightplan: GATOR11 is a F-15 2-ship. SWEEP11 is a F-15 4-ship heading for TRA3A, afterwards RTB EGUL.

Also interesting to who they talk. I only know Arthur who could translate it directly.
The position of the tailguns told a lot in the old days.
Positioned down they would be on intell runs. Which in at least 2 previous runs on NA coast did not happen. Which gave some tension.
Since the cold war gameplay was one with some 'small' rules.
And this was an intell run, Danish, Dutch and UK QRAs scrambled. 100% score.
Interception goes caught when they go hunt on their own: Radars off. Why they are centrally guided in these instances.
Curious if picts will emerge. Very curious.
These runs are 'bandwidth/intell' runs.
US has tried this 100s of times on Iranian AD grid, including IAF flybys, the grid there has never been 'lighted' as far known.
Once you light the grid or radar, you are compromised.
Curious what tailturret position was, and what Russians are saying. Be sure these 'trucks' are trackers.
An individual mistake is their santa-hat.

Re: 24th Nov 2009
There are some things I don't get; where were they headed for, at which 'spot' were they intercepted, and didn't anyone pick these bears up on atc? I mean, isn't it strange that bears are flying in w-europe and just 'by coincidence' they got intercepted too. Yeah right.
