Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

@ Eagle.. I'm really enjoying the Nikon shots, I think they are as good as a Canon or maybe even better... I'm very surprised i am thinking of a Nikon camera as well, not just a bad dream, but just a dream..
Nice looking close-ups almost, i think still some cropping here and there, but minimal..
I think you will not answer this reply.. lol

You two have done great things at Fairford, including burying the myth that sun is a requirement for good pictures.
Well done!
Hans.

Re: phototopic Royal International Air Tattoo... the show
Even more from me..
Heres the arrivals; starting with Wonderful Wednesday..
First up, the Bone..
Typhoon touch and go..
Swedish Gripen.
Always nice to B732 in military form, would be nicer if it had chrome engines..
Flying overhead from Brize Norton just as we were about to leave Fairford..
Then the Thursday, was really quite slow..
LX-N90453 bringing back happy memories from Waddington 2007 (ex. Indra Dhanush)
It'll be a shame when these are gone, although the A320 does look very smart!
Glad this one came before the rain did, beautiful camo too..
1 of 2 RF4s, Ahaa *referring to the Greek pilot getting confused and saying a flight of 2 on the comms.
A retiree closer to home with this Royal Navy Jetstream.
After 4 days at Lakenheath I still wasn't fed up with seeing Eagles.. (the light was really dire by then)
The Dutchies provided a couple of overshoots each..
Seen this travelling by road, why is it over here?
One of 3 Royal Navy Harriers arriving for the show..
Then there was Friday..
Nice to see these guys back, as Apu would say "come again.."
Is this Kecshemet? There's flying Harriers..
JT3D-3B Engined B707s..
Superb demo from this bird, really gets around that sky..
Finishing with my personal favourites, Mirage F1s, and I've seen quite a lot of them this last 2 years..
Departures and maybe statics next.
Chris
