According to Dutch newspaper Parool, Air France's first A380 is being delivered from Hamburg to paris today. To bad the weather sucks, otherwise we might have seen it passing over the Netherlands on its delivery flight..
BTW: is anyone on Casper or SBS (already) tracking the aircraft?

ETD of F-HPJA from XFW (Finkenwerder) is 1300Z/1400lt.
ETA CDG is 1600z/1700lt
The flightnumber is very appropriately chosen: AF380
I will try to find out the routing, not sure if I will manage. Considering the long flighttime of 3 hours plus the fact that there will be a couple of hundred AF and KL employees on board, it looks like it will not be taking the shortest route from Hamburg to Paris, but probably a more scenic route.

They will be routing north out over the North Sea, then south via TULIP/NIK toward Paris:Gerard wrote:I will try to find out the routing, not sure if I will manage. At about 15:45 lt, according to info at casper.frontier flight AFR380v crossed the skies over Zeeland. I've made a screencapture from the webpage (no, this is not my way of spotting, just enjoying the possibilities internet has on offer).
Here's a link to the screencapture:

Apparently Casper seems to fill some details for flights not going to or coming from AMS with wrong details. In this example it seems the data shows the flight is inbound for AMS, where in reality the flight is southbound and past AMS already.

Was this flightnumber not used in the past by a MP M11 which had flown for AF in a weekend? The flightnumbers between AF370-AF390 are normally used for this operation. So Flight AF0380 was already known as PARIJS-AMSTERDAM?MikeyLowPass wrote: Apparently Casper seems to fill some details for flights not going to or coming from AMS with wrong details. All times are local times!
