Maybe also arrived later were Navy C-130T 164995/AX and C-5B 86-0012. But this 2 needs confirmation.
Was again a great day in the country.
Cheers,

Great day indead, wadda log you got... I managed to get some my self between 17.30h and darkness... Looks like you have had a super day!
Can you tell me perhaps from which location C-130H (87-9281) was flying back to Ramstein? I noted a USAF C-130H some 50 minutes earlier (11.35h) some kilometers above Dijon, heading in the direction of Ramstein (NNW) and coming SW (South-France, Spain perhaps?).
I left my serialnotebook in the car, so I'm not able to cross check anything currently. But we did not see a USN C-130. Perhaps it arrived after darkness? Do you know which time it was expected?
The Volga An-124 that Miles was talking about was on the ramp indead, as it is civil I did not write it down. More interesting was it's airfreight... 4 mysterious Mi-8/Mi-17 choppers where loaded inside. As we where at Kindsbach hill we where unable to ID the 4 Hips. This morning it had left.

Can you tell me from which airport/airbase it came in? On the evening of the 15th October a Hungarian C-17 was parked at Melsbroek.Eric van Lisdonk wrote:Ramstein, Friday 16-10-2009

It was to dark to read it off. Perhaps you can tell if it came from Brussel?
