Bijzondere vluchten op 24 oktober 2009 tussen 09.00 en 18.30 uur

Zondag 11 oktober 2009 waren rondvluchten met een DC-3 gepland. De operator heeft vandaag aangegeven dat deze om technische redenen moeten worden uitgesteld naar zaterdag 24 oktober a.s.

De Dutch Dakota Association (DDA) heeft gepland om op zaterdag 24 oktober a.s. 6 rondvluchten vanaf Rotterdam Airport uit te voeren. De vluchten zullen circa 30 minuten duren.

Het betreft hierbij een historisch vliegtuig van het type Douglas DC-3 die met zuigermotoren is uitgerust. De motoren van de DC-3 produceren een geluid dat sterk afwijkt van de vliegtuigen die normaal Rotterdam Airport aandoen. Door het zwaar brommend geluid en het geluidsniveau zal het vliegtuig in de omgeving kunnen opvallen.

Het lijkt mij beter om dit in het topic van de 24e te posten aangezien het voor de 11e geen waarde meer heeft...(Of natuurlijk beide data's)

And the reason of the divertions. Bad weather?

All four confirmed. They left after refuelling.
The Netjets Hawker should be CS-DRS, the BD-100 is N424TM and next to that one was Citation EC-KOI.
