The big problem was the light this day, was you standing near the N224, photografy was impossible. I stand on a sandhill on the
eastside, until 1500 light was no problem.

This Polish C295 wasn't parked on the ramp and participated I presume (as the pilots climbed in shortly after I took this picture) with the second drops

Mike, actualy I did not see the Polish Casa295 perform droping sorties like the RAF and USAF C-130s. But I noticed a Casa 295 high overhead the Ginkelseheide around 13.30h LT. It was a small dot, but with binocs or a camera with zoomlens you could see it was a C295... I suspect it beeing the Polish one?

The second jump at 12.30 there were 4 Herc's at the start, were that all USAF Herc's? Or were the RAF and USAF between each other? And i saw at Ede station one Herc at 13.30. Which one was that?

Greetings...

There where two wide formation flights of 3 RAF Hercs (1st overhead, and first to finish) and 4 USAFE Hercs. Both "formations" made several runs overhead the Ginkelse Heide. Sometimes with droppings, some times without droppings.
Around 13.30h the Casa came overhead in the direction of Ede, but was pretty high. The Hercs where performing severals runs at that moment, within the two formations with app. 30 sec. spacing between the Hercs. So if you have seen a Herc at the trainstation of Ede, then it's pretty hard to tell which one it was.

Oke thanks, so it's pretty sure that the 4 Herc's in formation i've seen were from the USAF?
I thought they were the first overhead, but it was hard to see from standing on the "kazerne".

Yeah those are great Marcel it was a great day love the underside shot of the parachutist.
The dry runs where because one jumper had a unfortunate landing and was taken away by ambulance.
Also one of the Dutch Airmobile jumpers lost its helmet wile exiting the C130 that helmet was coming down with high speed luckily a woman saw it coming down and could warn the people that were standing nearby... the helmet and jumper were reunited again

three ship was Uk C130 and 4 ship was USAF

Side note for the first time this year there were Fallschirmjäger from the German Army jumping along side the Dutch British and US forces.
It was good to see them, in this time of international cooperation between all European country's...
This was also noted by the commander of the British Para's
