Re: Coleman Barracks (ETOR) - 2009
The last group of 6 ArNG UH-60s left Graz this afternoon for Coleman. All 11 should be at Coleman now.

Re: Coleman Barracks (ETOR) - 2009
I can remember that the SD ArNG Blackhawks visited Colemann Barracks before but can anyone tell me if this is correct and when they where there.

Last Saturday (28-02) only the 6 UH-60's from the second ARNG group were seen outside on the ramp. The 5 ones from the first group were not seen.

Re: Coleman Barracks (ETOR) - MIL 2009
Seen here being prepared for delivery to Ansbach on 06 April was CH-47D 89-00163(ex 7-101 AVN),which was delivered in through Ramstein last October.
The delivery of this Chinook to Ansbach is imminent,as it has been seen test-flying this week.
Around 12 Blackhawks were present on the ramp, one looked like it ended in 554.There was intense heat haze at the time of the visit around 15.00 local time.

Banter,
Logged the same 9 pcs near the fence yesterday. 2 Blackhawks east of the
tower, 1 with Med marking but I wasn't 100% sure that this one was the 547.
Further more there were 3 CH47's. 2 head on and one further to the east. This
one was read as ..142

Charles

Re: Coleman Barracks (ETOR) - 2009 MIL
Just some additional notes to Patrick's log:-
The 9 KY NG were indeed parked near the fence (engines were covered and looked therefore 'ready to go' -> to Hohenfels for further training). For the record, 86-24539 was named 'Wildcat'.

Charles, as could be seen in above log, your two Blackhawks 'east of the tower' are/should be (86-24)552 <MedCo> and 87-24643. The latter (24643) is however not a UH-60A(C) but a 'regular' UH-60A. For the 3 CH-47s, see also above.falcx wrote: 2 Blackhawks east of the tower, 1 with Med marking but I wasn't 100% sure that this one was the 547. Just to make things clear: none had a MedCo cross applied - this excludes KY NG ‘547’. Besides, one example carried external fuel tanks (and therefore -likely- a based 1-214 machine or at least not a KY example). This suggest that the two missing KY UH-60s are still inside the hangar for inspection.2 more were tail-on between the hangars.

Re: Coleman Barracks (ETOR) - 2009 MIL
How long are these "Nooks" allready present at Coleman? Noticed 3 CH47 on Friday 04th Sept 2009; but wasn't able to read them off (including 3 UH60)
Couldn't find any nice spot to read off the serials
