hello,
I am planning a holiday to Panama for january 2010.
Main goal of this trip is spotting poison dart frogs, but there should be some time to visit some airports.
Is there anyone with experience with spotting in Panama or even better, does someone have an public affairs office adress?
Thanks,
Arno

Aviation Day is celebrated in Panama around the 25th of January. There have been air shows on or around this date at former Howard AFB, at least in 2009 and 2003. Usually not posted on the internet beforehand, but you will be able to find out with the civil aviation authority, this is their email: rpublicas@aeronautica.gob.pa

Moreover, the air arm has allowed visits in the past, they are part of the Panamanian Coast Guard. The PRO can be contacted at:
rpublica@aeronaval.gob.pa
hope this helps!

Thank you very much for the info, Antilliaan. Sure will give it a try to arrange a visit.
I 'll be at former Howard AB on 21st of Janauary arriving with an inland-flght, so let's hope there is an airshow that date.
greetings
