A very interesting order coming after the Le Bourget show:

Virgin Atlantic has ordered 6 A330-300 and will lease 4 A330-300 from AerCap. The 6 newly ordered aircraft will also be leased from AerCap (but first bought by Virgin, then sold to AerCap and then leased back.... or something like that).

Algerian carrier Tassili Airlines (SF/DTH), will signed contracts with Boeing and Embraer for a total of 7 aircraft.
The order consists of 4x B737-800 from Boeing, and 3x E-190 from Embraer.

Copa Airlines (CM/CMP), Panama, has announced an order for 13 B737-800s from Boeing, with options for an additional 8 aircraft.
This brings the total number of B738s ordered by the company to 27.

Turkish Airlines (TK/THY), has signed an order with Boeing for an additional 7 B777-300ERs.
This brings that total of this type that the airline has on order to 12.

A good day for Boeing, as Ethiopian Airlines (ET/ETH) has announced that it has signed an order for 5 B777-200LRs.
At the same time, the airline signed a MoU with Airbus for 12 A350-900s.

Wizzair signed a LOI for an extra 50 (fifty!) Airbus 320.....
Not an order yet, but still impressive in these times.

According to Luchtvaartnieuws, the LOI is now converted into a firm order for 50 A320's.

Boeing and EgyptAir announced that the airline has converted a previous order for two 777s into an order for an additional eight Next-Generation 737-800s.
The airline currently has seven 737-800s in operation and it is taking delivery of an additional five 737-800s this year. The airline currently has five 777s in its fleet and is scheduled to receive six 777-300ERs beginning next year.

WestJet Airlines (WS/WJA), Canada, has announced an order for 14 B737-700s from Boeing.

Boeing confirmed an order for three Next-Generation 737s by Turkmenistan's national flag carrier Turkmenistan Airlines. The order for three 737-700s is worth approximately $192 million at list prices.

Turkish cargo carrier MNG Airlines (MB/MNB), has announced an additional order for 2 A330-200Fs from Airbus. This brings their total order of the type to 4.

Good news for Mitsubishi:

Trans States Airlines (AX/LOF), the regional carrier operating for United and US Airways, has announced an order for 50 MRJs, with options for an additional 50. No breakdown has been specified, but the order covers all three variants, the MRJ-90, MRJ-70, and the proposed 100 seat version.
A very interesting development, as the airline currently only flies EMB145s.

The national airline of Papua New Guinea, Air Niugini (PX/ANG), has signed a deal with Bombardier for 2 Q400s.
These will be the first brand-new aircraft operated by the airline in quite a while, as I believe all of their current fleet are secondhand.
