As most of you will know, SkyEurope Airlines (NE) was in serious trouble the last months.
According that all flights are suspended, the end is (very) near.

They still are in serious trouble; from AMS the BTS flights where canx. untill yesterday, what happens today remains a surprice. As from today the PRG-route is canx. However NE claims that they found a new investor (wonder how long this one remains, can't be long but things have turned out supricingly in the past)InterAvia wrote:As most of you will know, SkyEurope Airlines (NE) was in serious trouble the last months.

According various Austrian press releases and a file for bankruptcy (see links above) it's over with SkyEurope.Hurricane wrote:They still are in serious trouble
Off course it's guessing at this time, but it's more obvious then ever that this will be 'exit SkyEurope' ...

No use in trying to pull on a dead horse. How long did they expect to survive in this economic climate when they have never produced a profit in the 7 years of their existence.
Bummer for the people working there though. Friend of mine now needs to find a new right hand seat. That will be quite a task.

I always say a boy can learn more at an airport than at any school.

For now the OM-CLA/CLB/NGG/NGJ are waiting in BUD on a brighter future; the -NGP is waiting in CHR.
