Wednesday the 12th of August, a 737 owned by Transavia.com had several birdstrikes. (I'll upload some pictures some where this week.) The Transavia has great damage to it's left wing and left engine. As far as i could see there were 4 birdstrikes. The plane wasn't/isn't able to fly and is currently parkt in the "Rainbow-hangar" at Eindhoven Airport, where it is been repared. After this repair the 737 is going back to homebase, Amsterdam Schiphol for futher maintenance.

Aircraft is PH-HZE. Birdstrikes occurred on Tuesday the 11th on the Antalya-Eindhoven flight, with three noticeable impact points on the left wing (leading edge inboard of the engine, top of the engine intake, and leading edge slat outboard of the engine).Flying Saucer wrote:Wednesday the 12th of August, a 737 owned by Transavia.com had several birdstrikes. Repairs should be complete by Sunday, and the aircraft will then head up to AMS.
