Addition at 13:15 was
C-17A 07-7179 60th AMW.
C-17A 10197 wasn't there at 13:15.
Edit; Anyone for the real ID of the F-86 preserved as 51-13036 (ex Bitburg according to EMOOS 2007).

I would be very surprised if someone would come up with its identy all of a sudden, since this Sabre has been a bit of a mystery for many many many years now.Lex wrote:Edit; Anyone for the real ID of the F-86 preserved as 51-13036 (ex Bitburg according to EMOOS 2007).
But I'm always up for a surprise!

Re: ETAD 02-08-2009
Hi,
Saw this Sabre at Spang taken a part in a hangar close to the visitors ramp in september 2005 when the Luke and Fort Worth (Reserve) F-16's were there.
The hangar was in use by the Luke reserve guys. Some guy from ETAD told me the F-86 came from bitburg and was fixed to become a gate guard. And so it did
Cheers,
Larry
