Spotting@Keflavik
Anyone with some info on the possibilities at Keflavik ? Still some military presence, or are the detachments from the various NATO members also added to the history books ?
Thanx

The US. detachment is gone for sure, but don't know if airspace security is begin done by other (NATO) nations.
I have only been to the terminal going into and (unfortunately) leaving this beautiful country, and possibilities here are limited to see anything. Still looking for 4 MO Eagles who were deployed there back in February 2005 and came back from a patrol just when me and my party wehere getting a cab;-)
Outside should be do-able. Saw some raods around the field but never explored it further.
