I'll tell you why. Because it's a great, almost abstract impression of what a team display is all about.warthog64 wrote:don't know why, but kinda like this one ,
And for these two...

Quite some stunning pictures here from a nice airshow. Seems the bad weather resulted in some creative and original pictures. I'll contirbute to this topic with some of my own. Pics taken on saturday and sunday.

Re: phototopic Royal International Air Tattoo... the show
My Saterday pics. The only day i was there. I used a 120-400mm Sigma and tried a lot of new settings and stuff. I also tried out my semi-calibrated monitor, when running these through my pc. Looked at some different angles, my first time ever on RIAT so i didn't realy know where to stand. I think i was at the wrong spot this time, a lot of action was more to the left. And a lot of heat-haze for most of the take-off pics. That sucked for the 757 a lot.. Damn! Hope you enjoy them. I did!
1. F-18 Swiss Airforce.. A nice demo!
2. 757 NZ AF. Cool stuff!..
3. More cool NZ stuff..
4. The motherland of my mother. Nice fuel trick that looked like a flame out, later in his demo. I believe someone has a pic of it in another topic.
5. Same dude, different angle..
6. Lynx of th Royal Navy. turning and burning...
7. Another loco Spanish demo-pilot.. This one is not so sharp. Almost breaking the sound barrier.
8. Another F-18, notice the wingtip vortex.
9. Hawk taking off..
10. Tristar Tanker of the RAF flying by.. Cool engines..
11. Breitling team getting airborn. (Come to think of it, a lot of pics from right to left.. )
In memory of my Granny , rock on!

@ Hammie,
Now, this is a picture you can keep looking at for a long time and finding out new stuff every time you look at it. As said by Roel, this is a very nice shot of the Reds, and for me it is also one of the best of the Reds i've seen for a very long time..
Clap clap!
