Former Dutchies 'leaving' the fleet and their new ID.

Post by van Teil »

The three Transavia aircraft already based in CPH will be transferred from the dutch register to the danish register in aug/sep

PH-HZY => OY-TDA
PH-HZV => OY-TDB
PH-XRC => OY-TDZ

Maybe a bit off topic but why does transavia register their planes to the country they are flying from. See HV France and HV Denmark. Why not just like FR or EZY to keep the 'original' registration?

With a other registration it can fly on their (Transavia Danmark) AOC..
Now they are flying on the Dutch AOC....

They need an own AOC to fly outside Europe. They can not operate outside Europe on the AOC of HV.

Why not?
Last year ArkeFLy leased two spanish 739's on Futura's AOC. They fly also outside europe (MIR, HRG, SSH)

They have or are getting an own Danish AOC am I right?

PH-BDU (734) will fly last commercial KLM-flight in June 2009
PH-BDA (733) will fly last commercial KLM-flight in October 2009

Maybe another 2 aircraft might leave in the 2nd half of 2009.

-300 PH-BDC 4Q 2009, due to KLM Cityhopper ops.
-300 PH-BDD 4Q 2009, due to KLM Cityhopper ops.

Note:* last classic 737 to be wfu aprox 2010/2011.
Rumors here in Bolivia is that BoA is to receive an ex KLM B734. Anyone know if that is true and if yes which one :?:

I'm not sure about BoA but the PH-BDU came back from NWI after storage, being prepared @ AMS for a 'so far unknown customer' so this might be the case.

I think it certainly is a good idea, especially with so many planes leaving Dutch fleets. And I think it would be even better in a topic by itself. This topic is already becoming pages and pages long and with two lists it will only become more confusing.

Just a thought,

Can someone confirm how many F50's will go to Hellas Aviation? Is it 2 or 4?
Thanks in advance.

I think at least 4 ex PH-KVE/KVF/ZDI and the Freedom Air 5B-DCB left also for Athens.
