4 I only shoot / post Delta when vortexes are involved.
5 I have had some troubles with cameras today; within 20 minutes my 5D and 300D went out of order. I think of a malfunction of my 100-400 lens. The 5D is half alive and sent away for repairs.
The 300D is beyond repair ( smells like burn platsic ), so this is the real last picture of my 300D ( I'm glad it ended in style ).
EDIT; stupid but funny typo

Re: Phototopic EHAM 09-05-2009
Today I went to EHAM, trying to catch the Northwest military charter 747-200 with the classic looks.
ETA was 14:40. I thought I arrived early at 18R (14:15) but the plane already landed (someone else there told me after I had waited 50 minutes past the ETA).
As it turned out, I missed it by 10 minutes. Bummer. Better luck next time.
Still some nice shots:
#1 PH-EZC
#2 SU-GBC (14:36) burning some rubber!
#3 PH-TFA (some winds are pushing the left wing back into the air)
#4 PH-BFH (gliding towards 18R)
As the Nothwest classic 747-200 was scheduled to leave at 16:10, I drove to RWY 24, to catch it.
Hoping that I wouldn't have left early.
#5 PH-BGB
#6 PH-KCC
#7 PH-BFE
#8 N841MH
#9 SU-GBC (16:12) (dropped of pax and picked up new ones in ~ 1 hour and 50 minutes)
And there it was!
#10 N623US
#11 N623US
And the last one of today:

Hi,
United Airlines came in with their B767-300 (N653UA) in Star Alliance livery. Here she is, seen climbing away from a runway 24 departure:

Just looks like a normal crosswind landing, Opposite rudder to line up the nose with the centerline and bank into the wind to counteract the drift.Derice wrote:.....

but very nice pictures for the rest.
I also have one question, Wednesday 13 May I fly to the Netherlands with TAP, is someone planning to take some pictures that day????
STA is 11:45LT

Hi All,
I went to EHAM the 9th. Was standing at 06-24 that was an outbound lane. I try some diffrent settings in M-mode 1/1000 f/9 ISO 200. And I didn't crop any picture!
Hope you like them.
Greetz,
David (Was nice to meet you Skycruiser)

Hi David,
good to see some pics here. I think the CZ, MP MD11 and KL A330 are the best in this series.
I have to mention that I rarely use shuttertimes of 1/1000 sec. My runway pictures are usually in between 1/100 ~ 1/500 sec with normal daylight. Propellor driven aircraft with the lower shuttertimes to get propblur.
Just to give you 2 of my examples from yesterday, same aircrafts as you've shown, rather same position,
PH-MCR - 1/1000 f/9 (same settings as you had)
PH-BQN - 1/500 f/11
See you around next time.
Rgds
