CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you
Isn't it better to change this "subject" in EHAM 09-04-2009 MIL
Because this regi and roundels looks more a MIL one.
And she/he in the Scamble Database under the FAF

The roundel I can understand, but what is so mil about the registration? Seems to me that it's 'just' a standard civil registration.Navy Lynx wrote: Because this regi and roundels looks more a MIL one.
But if you think mil-spotters are interested in this movement, no-one will stop you from copying such a message to a new mil-topic.

In de Scramble Database staat deze kist met Serial : F-GTVC en Status: Civ.Navy Lynx wrote: And she/he in the Scamble Database under the FAF

If I'm not mistaking de 'Kustwacht' (Coastguard) is a part of the MoD, so yes.gatso76 wrote:

I would turn it the other way around: Is it possible for a civilian to book a flight on a particular aircraft: if yes, Civil, if not, MIL.

Re: CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you
Funny discussion!
Recently I found that the Coastguard Dorniers are officially in the registers as "Commandant der Luchtstrijdkrachten" so that would be mil then?
If I can book a flight hmmmm tried to book a flight with Samsung (HL7748) yesterday and failed, so Mil?
LOL

Re: CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you
I read an article in "Onze Luchtmacht" and even there I couldn't find the answer, they are civil registered and certified , but operated by the military under partly civil and partly military rules and regulations afaik...Recently I found that the Coastguard Dorniers are officially in the registers as "Commandant der Luchtstrijdkrachten" so that would be mil then?
exactly .... this has been a discussion since the wright brothers took a general for a flight...Denk dat voor dit soort vraagstukken geen vaste regel is en dat er meer persoonlijke antwoorden/regels komen...
(For instance, I think the Securité Civile is very military...)

Hoi,

Re: CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you
And what about the Beech 200 PH-SBK, wich flew some years with 'Koninklijke Marine' titles ? The same for a civil Bell 222, also with that titles....????
Re: CIV vs MIL vs Gvmt...up to you
It would be the same story for those NW 742 who fly military chatters.
I don't really see why you need to specify Civ/Milv for phototopics. If it's allright you know by the movements subforum if there has been Mil movement on a Civil airport. Then you can look for them at that particulary day phototopic. Otherwise it is getting way to much scatterred arround. Just one day, one airport topics.
