Re: EHRD 31-03-2009
Hi all,
Is the Safi B762 still expected to leave this morning? Any departure time known meanwhile?
And another question: is it, due to security etc, currently possible to spot/photograph from the "Bovendijk" (taxiway leading to holdingpoint rwy 24)?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Regards, Robin Bamps.

Re: EHRD 31-03-2009
Security this afternoon was a good deal less frantic than feared! A lot of people parked their car along the Doenkade N209 and simply walked through the bushes to the canal. No police, be it military or civil, bothered stopping beside these vehicles, let alone sending people and their cars away...Robin_Bamps wrote:Hi all,

You can expect a Military Police 4x4 patrolling a small road on the other side of the canal keeping a close eye upon you, but other than that I'd say just go for it!
If only we knew the ETD...
By the way, the stairs were removed by 1900 hrs. There's only an APU beside the nosewheel, plus a military police van behind the aircraft.
