Aviano (LIPA) - 2009 MIL
Hi,
Inbound today were four F-16s with Retro c/s. They came in from Lajes.
Probably 4 from rework (that were seen at Lajes yesterday).
Kind regards,
Oscar

It's a very big surprise for me to know that some 31 FW's Vipers are/were on the States, I'm very curious to know their tail numbers..
Re: Aviano (LIPA) 2009
Ciao Maurizio,
Wishfull thinking.... new ones?
At least no tailnumbers were mentioned in flightplan....
Regards,
Oscar

Don't know if on the right section, today in the afternoon an AV F-16 dropped it's wing tanks near Aviano AB while in emercency, apperently without causing any damage; the Viper was 89-2102.
Re: Aviano (LIPA) 2009
Expected today is a nice U-28A (PC-12)

Re: Aviano (LIPA) 2009
Hi Piet,
the NOTAM was precedent the mishap, since then they aren't fliyng at all.
For Guinness, yes taken on landing at LIPA.

Are the media right with the fuel tanks ?
I dont see any wing pylons for external fuel tanks or did it only have
a center fuel tank that has been dropped?
