CO-workers to vote on paint job for new aircraft.

Post by cHabu »

Not related to the european aviation scene, but some visit the USA and might want to know....

Co-workers to vote on paint job for new aircraft.

In honor of CO's 75th anniversary, the company will paint one of the
new 737-900ER aircraft to be delivered this year in a retro livery
from the company's past.

Co-workers will be able to vote for their choice of four designs. Read
tomorrow's Daily News Update for details on how to vote

here are a few examples of what the 737 might look like

As posted on the Airline-list (@ yahoo-groups).

Bye, Chris.

Note: Although i won't ever visit the USA, my vote is for the late 50's livery.

Follow-up:

In the initial voting, none of the four liveries received more than 50 percent of
the votes by the deadline. Vote for one of the two leading designs: Contrails or
Blue Skyway. Co-workers may choose either the red or black logo for
Contrails.
The deadline to vote is 5:00 p.m. Central time Tuesday, Feb. 24.
The plane with the winning livery will be completed in June.
