Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

[EHAM] 31-01-2009
Some of my shots from today.
I'd love to hear some comments.
#1 - Pegasus Airlines Boeing 737-82R. TC-APU
#2 - KLM Boeing 737-306. PH-BTH
#3 - DHL Airbus A300B4-203(F). OO-DLR
#4 - DHL Airbus A300B4-203(F). OO-DLR
(Toobad about the missing tailtip and the bushes)
#5 - DHL Airbus A300B4-203(F). OO-DLR
Heavy crop, liked the contrast with the pony, that doesn't seem to have a care in the world about the airplane.
#6 - KLM Boeing 737-8K2(WL). PH-BXF
#7 - CSA Boeing 737-400. OK-CGT
#8 - KLM Boeing 737-9K2. PH-BXR
Schiphol is in the other direction?

Re: [EHAM] 31-01-2009
I also had a great day at SPL today, very, very cold wind, but got quite a few new aircraft today..
The day started of at the polderbaan, where a fierce crosswind probably caused some sore muscles for many captains...
A sideward wheely.. always wanted to be a cascadeur
(PH-BFO having a hard time landing..)
..Northwest not too happy either with this crosswind...
This Boeing has only been Greek for 3 months now, having flown for Varig and Asiana before...
even "just an Easyjet" held a surprise for me, the 100th Easybus with special titles...
one of the "targets for today"... Looks like the wear-and-tear is taking its toll already.. time to apply some new stickering???
The icing on the cake, when walking back to our car, two heavies arrived, first this Asiana..
and than this one.... Usually I only get the 767's, so the Kenya T7 was a late treat for me, catching the last sunshine....
one last drive around the airfield...
ending at a very quite Schiphol-East, before hitting the road back home.. A well spent day at Spl!!
Grtz
