Does somebody know what kind of plane this is? I made this picture in march 2008 at Rotterdam Zestienhoven.

really nice shots..I am still trying with sky high pictures , but I still have problems , to make pictures like that. What lens do you use an with which shutter time and aperture you used for that pictures.

Definitely, you can just see the winglets, reflecting the low sunlight.C17?

I use the ( old ) Canon eos 5D with the EF 500mm F/4 from Canon, combined with the 1.4 TC from Canon.EDTY wrote:@ nustyR,

Shutterspeed is most of the time 1/1250 or 1/1600, ISO between 100 / 125 / 160 or 200, aperture is 6.3 or 7.1
A good shots depends more from good weather ( clear sky with dry air and low temperatures ), a plane @ fl310 is much easier to shoot than a plane @ fl380, so go hunt for FRA or AMS departures.
