this last week the Alenia Aermacchi M-346 "Master" (this is the name given to the aircraft) has broken the sound barrier reaching the speed of 1250 Km/h in level flight and clean configuration! The aircraft mounts 2 Honeywell F124 turbofan.
I hope to see many of them with different roundels in the future!
