Landscapes
Bitburg, Germany, August 1964. One of the F-105 Thunderchiefs is about to land, while the others provide aircover. The jetblast blew away the sheafs of corn.
Geilenkirchen, Germany, August 1964. This photo is taken from the inside of our shelter. We were just preparing supper, so it took some time to find the camera. The Meteor already passed us.
Grtz,
Dick

Thx Dino,Dino wrote: Dick the Thud's pic is stunning !
Seen from the other side, the Thuds didn’t look quite as interesting ...
Bitburg, Germany, August 1964. The base.
Not as beautiful as the first picture of the Thuds, but still impressive.
Luftwaffe Thunderflash EA-311 at Welschap (EHEH), August 1964. This one (which is also the former Belgian FR-31) is nowadays standing near the Oranjekazerne in Schaarsbergen as "Dutch" Thunderflash P-7!
Luftwaffe Thunderflash EA-341 at Welschap (EHEH), August 1964. Photo Dick Barendregt, collection Ragay.
KC-135 Geilenkirchen, Germany, August 1964. Some jets have hardly changed in more than 40 years.
Well, that's all folks. I only have a very small collection, you see ...
