Hello to all, yesterday in company of zerootto we have been to FS.
The time was very bad but nothing rain.
The peasant l we have not seen… even if we were in ten persons.

However it totally has reason to ask the tax for the 5€

I have another question, as I am going there on monday. How high a stepladder does one need at the Corennes side (spot 2/3 Scramble guide)? I have always been there on the other side (08). But weather expectations point me that way.

Not that high, just a three step ladder will do, just to poke over the fence.

According to Airshows,be a F-16 crashed this afternoon near or at Florennes..
Some diverts to Beauvechain..
Rumours say its a portugese one..

Iglo 10 diverted towards EBBL (Belgian KeeBee F16's from TLP), just left Kleine Brogel at 18.30 inbound Florennes RWY 26.

So Florennes is open again.

Maybe the EBBE ones also?????

IGLOO10 didn't divert to EBBL, it was a planned aircraft change.

Portugese Air Force F-16 crash landing at Florennes today 05/12/2008. Pilot safely ejected.

Portugese F-16 beschadigd bij landing in Florennes
Een Portugees F-16-gevechtsvliegtuig heeft vandaag op de luchtmachtbasis in Florennes schade opgelopen na zijn terugkeer van een oefenvlucht. De piloot gebruikte zijn schietstoel, maar bleef ongedeerd. Dat is uit militaire bron vernomen.

NAVO-oefening
Het vliegtuig nam deel aan een oefening voor gevechtspiloten van de NAVO. Het schoof van de landingsbaan af en belandde in de modder, zei een legerwoordvoerder aan Belga. Het toestel leek niet al te zwaar beschadigd, voegde de woordvoerder er aan toe. (belga/eb)
