Cessna 172 on the highway

Post by Tintin »

The International News Oct 29, 2008:

"JAKARTA: A small plane with two student pilots and an instructor made a successful emergency landing on an Indonesian highway Wednesday after engine trouble forced it down, police said.

The Cessna 172-C was en route from Jakarta to Semarang in Central Java when it got into trouble and landed on a toll road some 70 kilometers (44 miles) from the capital, police said.

"There were no victims as the toll road was quite deserted when the training aircraft made the emergency landing," police officer Marsono said."

And the big question is now: Does the pilot have to pay tollmoney for using the road?
Cheers, Michel
