Hi Dollar99. That brown-green F-5A at Mojave is fromer Taiwanese AF, isn't it? You can see the Chinese characters on the rescue sticker. I have a silver one in my collection that I will upload soon
Thanks for the welcome guys, happy to be able to contribute something!!
Yes I believe it was former Taiwanese, one of two camo ones on the ramp that evening, I'll dig the other one out tonight. But now I have a nagging doubt it may have been '88 not '83 so I'll check that out as well.
Nice thread, some lovely shots

This F-5A was at Mojave in June 1988. 66-9188 c/n N.6292 former ROCAF 1229. This F-5 was destined for the Philippine AF, but was most likely never delivered.

Then I found this F-5 website: http://home.eblcom.ch/f5enthusiast/.
Dollar99: this same story goes fo your camouflaged F-5.

Hi Dick,Dick Lohuis wrote:A beautiful shot of ROCAF F-5A 1238/39204 in October 1971. Can anyone help me to identify to which sqn it belongs?

According to the same source given earlier (showing the same pic) it should be the 3rd TFS (now 3rd TFG at Tainan):
Freedom Fighters were delivered in plain metallic colours. Later those of the 1st Tactical Fighter Squadron received a red nose and tail insignia, aircrafts of the 3rd Tactical Fighter Squadron a yellow/orange and of the 9th Tactical Fighter Squadron a dark blue nose and tail insignia.
Greetings,
Stefan
