If it is only the B747-200F operations...logic as they will produce less noise and polution during landing/take-off iso Amsterdam-Schiphol... :~?~:

Quite logical, actually; a 742 is being invoiced higher by AAS in the noise department than a 744. Guess that the rates at MST are a lot lower in that case.

* Great Wall will go from 8 flights to 10 flights a week.

* Per 27 October Polar Cargo stops operations into AMS. It were 6 flights a week, from the 18th of Juni allready back to 3 (only with 747-400).

A collegue at the airfreight department at work (DHL) mentioned Polar/Atlas will stop all scheduled operations to Europe. They will focus on the more lucrative North America > Asia routes. Only individual charters will still go to Europe. Since DHL owns a good chunk of Polar/Atlas I suppose he is rather credible.

I think this information is correct, because he is close to the fire, but: the route to AMS was the best Europe route of Polar/Atlas. Only they need the aircrafts on the other routes.

Starting with the winter schedule next weekend, Alitalia will completely withdraw from the route Milan MXP-AMS-MXP, only FCO-AMS-FCO will remain.

AZ will continue to codeshare with KLM on MXP-AMS-MXP for the time being.

Is the LINate flight the one operated by Ali-Express? That might explain the omission of this flight in XYZ's post.

According our schedule the morning flight yes, 'XM' flightnumber (Alitalia Express but AZ a/c) while the evening flight is operated under our own 'AZ' number.

edit:

0855-0945 Lt. 'XM5110/5111' by AZ A319
1855-2015 Lt. 'AZ112/113' by AZ A320/MD-80

Acc. luchtvaartnieuws.nl KLM will end services to/from Hyderabad, caused by the current economic situation and decreasing demand in Indian air traffic.

As from the upcomming wintersschedule (starting next weekend) KL will reduce to 4 weekly flights to HYD and remove this station completely from their network from the 1st of February 2009.
