Nothing against that 8)

I must admit I'm not exactly sure how AE handles this, but it seems to me you are bound to get overexposed shots: the camera will try to render the dark environment like daylight, and a flash will ruin that. Obviously, the presence of clouds plays a major role.
I would go for manual exposure that renders the environment dimly lit, and see if flashes I catch do not wipe out parts of the pic. I'm sure the makers of several works of art here can correct me if I'm wrong!

Although quality-wise not the best photo, you do get a clear view of the progress of covering a city with a shower.

Hi,

Here are 2 photos taken while was working on a KLM 737.

A few minutes later a heavy thunderstorm passed over.

:uhuh: Wasn't this supposed to be a storm-and-other-weather-shots kind of topic? And isn't there a landscape topic just a few lines below this one? Seems as if the boundaries between these two are not quite clear....

Back to 'Storm and weather', Schiphol last night (02-03oct08):

Shower approaching from the west. A handling stop (to avoid the risk of being struck for the apron staff) and 180° wind shift in 3 minutes would be the result.
Image

Lightning against lighting. Eventually, the latter won: the A4 lightmast being struck in front was functioning afterwards!
Image

Glasshouse light pollution, showers and discharges.

Whoa! What an exciting night it turned out to be, Amazing shots!!

Great job on the watermark as well, not distracting at all.
