Yes it is relocated, it now belongs to 744 Esc at Matacan, as can be found in the MASR Spain Database :idea:

Hi.

paid a visit to Kleine-Brogel and this was what I saw and photographed.

6 August 2008 between 10:25 and 13:15 hour; runway 23 in use.
Weather: sunny and warm, calm breeze from the south/south-west.

Locals:
F-16AM: FA-61, 73, 81, 87 (special tiger markings), 95, 102, 104. 124 and 129
F-16BM: FB-01, 04, 14, 15 and 20

Visit:
AS-532U-2 300 Sqn S-447 Approuch and flying along runway 23 to 05. Furthermore when driving towards the airbase I saw one Chinook.

An interesting short stay which resulted in 14 local F-16's within 2,5 hours time.

Hi Edward ,
Are you 100% sure about S-447 ?
I checked my pics on the pc and to me it should be S-442 :?
Also on the Soesterberg Forum (EHSB 06-08-2008) the S-442 is mention as one of the 'locals' that flew today , according the SBS-1 logs. No S-447 over here !

The Chinook is D-101 (100% :wink: ) , it made a low app. at 10.22h
.
kind regards, Mario Boeren

Wolfhound68 departed from Soesterberg for a TACAN runway24 at Volkel switching Volkel arrival 241.9250MHz. After Volkel
Kleine Brogel was the next 'target'!

Hi all,
Seen today 14-08 (2008 before some bijgoochem asks which year ) during a quick visit between 14.30 and 16.00.
To complete this day I was there from 09.30 hour till about 13.00 hour and photographed the following vipers:

Locals EBBL:
F-16AM FA-58, 78, 95, 102, 104 en 129
F-16BM FB-08, 10, 12, 14, 20, 24

Visit:
C-130H 15W t/g

Remarks:
First four vipers left around 10.45 hour;
The next two vipers left around 11.00 hour;
The following two vipers left around 11.15 hour of which one got a "klapband" (sorry no number :oops: ) and did not leave. This resulted in the fact that the main runway was closed for about 30 minutes.
Around 12.00 hour another viper left.
Around 12.45 hour another four vipers left the nest.

The day started sunny but later on more and more clouds were covering the sun. When I left around 13.00 hour it was mostly cloudy. The wind was strong from the west/southwest. Temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius.

Grtz,

E.
